SO, WHY THE HELL DID THE AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL ALLOW THIS ‘MAN’ TO USE THE PARK. WHY DID ACC ALLOW THE MAN TO GET THESE TEENS TO SPRAY PAINT THE PARK? SKATEBOARDERS HAVE MOVED AWAY FROM THAT PRACTICE, SO FOR MURDOCH AND AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL TO LET THEM GRAFFITI UP A APARK WITH SPONSORS LOGOS, IS JUST WRONG AND STUPID. I FOUND A SKATER WEBSITE, AND FOUND THIS COMMENT FROM THE POOR GUY ATTACKED IN THE ABOVE VIDEO. I THINK HIS QUESTIONS ARE VERY FAIR TOO. THIS MAN MURDOCH IS NOT APART OF THE SKATER SCENE AND WITH HIS ‘LETS GRAFFITI THE PARK’ ACT HAS NO PLACE BEING ANYWHERE NEAR CHILDREN.

First of all he puts on a skate comp. Without really asking the skaters – no one who worked on that park agreed to this.

Then, he arms all the children with spray cans to tag the entire park with all the logos, which is 1) shit and 2) fucking totally immoral and twisted. Kids endorsed to tag a park? By a druggie idiot.

Finally, he employs a handful of HUGE men to be security at the family event and physically pushes little kids off their boards and in one instance smashes one of their board like a Rugby League player collides with another.

I confronted Doc about all this and he made up a load of nonsense about it being authorised. Then after seeing the footage (Jake has it all on his camera for Robett’s show) I had to confront them.

Walking up to the main chap, this bald headed 45 year old (who actually skates the bowl at times and is normally alright). I asked him why he is pushing tiny kids around. NEK MINNIT, I’m walloped in the throat.

Then I’m surrounded by large security guards telling me i’m out of line. (all still being filmed by Jake  )

Eventually I left, after calling them pedos and pathetic and the comp would never happen again and they must remove all the tags from the park..

I’m sure the bloke wants to kick the shit out of me now. I hope the footage gets released though as he will look like a total tit. He spent the rest of the afternoon staring me out and looking massive. He’s essentially Ross Kemp.
