Isn’t ‘Prometheus’ A Giant Steaming Pile Of Unoriginal Shit?
Just awful. No sense to the characters motivation except to put them in the line of death. Adored when guy they had set on fire turned back up and attacked everyone and was noisy and then forgotten. Loved when the lady chopped the hungry cock vagina out of her stomach and then forgot about it and went and had brekkie and no-one mentioned she was covered in blood. Is obviously connected to the ‘Alien’franchise. In so much that it rips them off badly. And Fassbender is the most obvious villian, badly acted for years. What a giant pile of shit. Thought the comics treated the Space Jockeys better than this shit. they were cool villians in that and were elephanty people. the Engineers? FFs what rot.
‘Blade Runner’ Sequel Story Details Emerge – Who Cares For A ‘Blade Runner’ Sequel.
I just so don’t need or shall see the ‘Blade Runner’ sequel. Maybe they could just go back to the book and film that? Would love to see all the religious stuff.
Hampton Fancher is in talks to reunite with his “Blade Runner” director Ridley Scott to develop the idea for the original screenplay for the Alcon Entertainment, Scott Free, and Bud Yorkin produced follow up to the ground-breaking 1982 science fiction classic, it was announced by Alcon co-founders and co-Chief Executive Officers Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove.
The filmmakers are also revealing for the first time that the much-anticipated project is intended to be a sequel to the renowned original. The filmmakers would reveal only that the new story will take place some years after the first film concluded.
The three-time Oscar-nominated Scott and his “Blade Runner” collaborator Fancher originally conceived of their 1982 classic as the first in a series of films incorporating the themes and characters featured in Philip K. Dick’s groundbreaking novel “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?”, from which “Blade Runner” was adapted. Circumstances, however, took Scott into other directions and the project never advanced.
So, in short, the sequel will take place “some years after” the events of the original Blade Runner and may (or may not) be based on Scott and Fancher’s original, unrealized concept of a series of films.
Scott also talked with The Daily Beast about Blade Runner 2’s status and the sex of the film’s protagonist, saying:
“Funny enough, I started my first meetings on the Blade Runner sequel last week. We have a very good take on it. And we’ll definitely be featuring a female protagonist.”
FIRST LOOK – ‘BSG – Blood And Chrome’ Trailer.

At the end of his talk, Grazier screened a trailer for the upcoming “Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome,” a two-hour television film which is set in the 10th year of the First Cylon War.
Still no official word on what Blood and Chrome is (a TV film or a pilot) even though the decision was supposed to be made in February, but hopefully Syfy will announce something at the upfronts (April 24) if not sooner.
Coming soon. The early days of Bill Adama.
‘Muppets’ Gets Sequel – Jason Segel ‘Too Busy’ Too Participate?
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
A deal has been reached with The Muppets director James Bobin and original co-writer Nicholas Stoller to pen a sequel, but insiders also tell us that Stoller’s original collaborator, Jason Segel, won’t be returning to the keyboard. Segel, a star of How I Met Your Mother — now in its eighth season — has a burgeoning film career, and Disney insiders tell Vulture that between his commitment to the CBS sitcom, his other feature-writing efforts, and promotional work for Five Year Engagement (due out this coming April) and Judd Apatow’s This Is Forty (in December), there won’t be time to collaborate on a Muppets sequel.
