Zachary Quinto Talks ‘Star Trek 2′ Contsantly Evolving Script.
I SO ADORED HIM ON ‘AMERICAN HORROR STORY’. WHAT A HORROR.
“It’s been really great,” Quinto said. “We’ve been shooting for a week and a half, and it’s been an incredible return to that world.”
Unlike the first “Star Trek” film in 2009, the cast has received a script that is still “in progress.” Yes, the words of Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof have been finalized, but that doesn’t mean tweaks aren’t happening here and there. And because there’s no writers strike this time out, such changes can actually take place instead of shooting a locked script.
“It was the middle of December, and finally I had to be like, ‘We need to read the script,’” Quinto said. “They waited a pretty long time, but that’s because they were working on it.”
And they’re still working on it. “Now it’s really changing … on a regular basis.”
Quinto wouldn’t provide many other details except to say that “Sherlock” star Benedict Cumberbatch is already on set, and is meshing well with the cast. Cumberbatch is rumored to be the lead villain in the film, and joins a British invasion that also includes Alice Eve and “Doctor Who” alum Noel Clarke.
“All of them have folded in so beautifully, and brought a whole new level of intelligence and sensitivity,” Quinto said.
WATCH – ‘Apolllo 18′ Trailer.
Officially, Apollo 17, launched December 17th, 1972 was the last manned mission to the moon. But in December of 1974, two American astronauts were sent on a secret mission to the moon funded by the US Department of Defense. What you are about to see is the actual footage which the astronauts captured on that mission. While NASA denies its authenticity, others say it’s the real reason we’ve never gone back to the moon.
