WATCH – Season 2 Preview – ‘Once Upon A Time’ Gets Another Villain.
Once Upon a Time producers and cast members teased season 2 at Comic-Con this morning.
The Panel: Jennifer Morrison, Josh Dallas, Ginnifer Goodwin, Lana Parrilla, Megan Ory, Emilie de Ravin, Adam Horowitz, and Edward Kitsiss
The Big Revelations:
+ Captain Hook is coming!
+ We will find out the identity of Henry’s father — and Jennifer Morrison knows who it is! “We talked about it early on,” she said. Kitsis’ tease? “I think Goofy is probably going to be Henry’s father,” he joked. “We gotta give Emma more credit here,” Morrison retorted.
+ We will learn the mythical identity of Dr. Whale this season.
+ There’s room for Kristin Bauer van Straten to return as Maleficent! “I didn’t see her body,” said Horowitz.
+ What DOES it mean that “Magic is coming”? “I wonder if we will find that out. I bet you we will have to watch season 2,” said Kitsis. “We don’t know if there’s anything to go back to.” Horowitz added: “Who knows if there’s anything there?”
+ The first few episodes will not disappoint. “I never could have conceived of the brilliance that is the first couple of scripts,” said Goodwin. “I can say that as an audience member it’s exactly what I’d want to see.” Added Kitsis: “The show is not going to change from the one you loved last year…we’re still going to go back and forth and meet new people along the way. “
+ We will find out what happened to Mr. Gold’s son Bae this season.
Red/Ruby Is Upped To Series Regular For Season 2 OF ‘Once Upon A Time’.
Once Upon a Time fancies itself better off Red, and as such has promoted Meghan Ory to a series regular for Season 2, our sister site Deadline reports.
On the fantastical ABC series, Ory plays Storybrooke diner waitress Ruby as well as the fairytale world’s Red Riding Hood (who harbors her own surprising alter ego).
What To Expect From Season 2 Of ‘Once Upon A Time’.
I just hope they don’t forget to move the story forward as happened so obviously in Season 1. Because there was very little story movement for quite awhile there. Still, with all the fabulous drama from the Season finale, they sure will be in a different place for Season 2….
Speaking to TV Line, Espenson reveals:
We’re picking up right where we left off, but where we left off was in the middle of a veer in a different direction. Season 2 will be different than season 1.
She also talks about plans to bring in The Little Mermaid and other Disney princesses:
I would hope Ariel would join the show. She’s one we’ve definitely talked about. [And] there are a whole lot of princesses we haven’t seen — like Aurora, Rapunzel and Jasmine. And it’s hard to look at that list without going, ‘Well, what about Goldilocks?!’ And they’d all be good, because what we do is take them and go, ‘Well, the thing you never knew about Little Miss Muffet is…’
SPOILERS – Who Else Spent The Final Of ‘Once Upon A Time’ Jumping And Screaming?
Well, the season finale certainly made up for the few episodes that were slow this season. What a game changing wonderful episode. And that is just what happened in the first 5 minutes with Emma FINALLY believing…..
That look on her face when she hears Regina – MAGIC. And the whole episode was all totally magic. From the return of my boyfriend Graeme, aka The Huntsman, to the double dragon battle,
to Belle getting released to the final seconds of magic coming to Storybrooke………..
Such a treat. So, questions for next season…….
1. Will all the evil people have their magic back?
2. Will they even still be in Storybrooke or will they have returned to Fairy tale land.
3. When will Henry really die?
4. Will Red be a werewolf in our world?
5. Will Jiminy be a cricket?
6. Will we be able to wait til September for season 2?
Happily. But cannot wait.
