NO. In asking people about their viewing of TVNZ7, these 3 shows are the only ones mentioned as they are the only ones worth watching on the channel. I do not include ‘Backbenchers’ as I find the shouting from the floor makes the show impossible to watch, and the whole exercise is just like watching Parliament TV.
So, is TVNZ7 worth saving for these 3 shows? No. Well, that was simple. I also love the fact that some of the people who know make shows for TVNZ7 were employed by TVNZ when all the rot started setting in, and happily hastened the dumbing down of NZTV. How soon they forgot. And here is the scene from ‘Network’ that people forget that is behind the real collapse of TV.
ALSO, I FUCKING LOVE MAORI TV. THEY DO IT FOR ME WITH THE ENDLESS GOOD DOCOS, BOTH MADE HERE FOR LIMITED RESOURCES. AND THEIR EXCELLENT MOVIE SELECTION. BETTER THAN ANY FREE TO AIR CHANNEL. AND ‘SONGS FROM THE INSIDE’ WILL CHANGE TV.
