Well if you haven’t yet then you will soon, because according to Daily Mail, the cast of the Academy Award nominated LES MISERABLES will be performing at the Oscars this February. The song that will be performed is still undecided, but rumors are circulating that it will likely be either be a medley, or one of the ensemble numbers such as ‘One Day More’ or ‘Do You Hear The People Sing.’

Hugh Jackman Returns To Broadway With One Man Show.

Australian native Hugh Jackman, who won a Tony Award for his Broadway debut in The Boy from Oz and was later seen opposite Daniel Craig in A Steady Rain, will return to The Great White Way in his solo show, Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway.

Performances are scheduled for Oct. 25, 2011-Jan. 1, 2012, at The Broadhurst Theatre with an official opening Nov. 10.

In a statement Jackman said, “I can’t believe it’s been seven years since I was singing and dancing on Broadway. There is nothing like performing on the Great White Way and I’m so excited to be coming ‘home.’”

The Broadway engagement, which features an 18-piece orchestra, follows limited runs in Toronto and San Francisco.

Universal has landed Russell Crowe to play Javert to Hugh Jackman’s Jean Valjean in Les Miserables, the live-action adaptation of the Cameron Mackintosh-produced stage musical that will be helmed by The King’s Speech director Tom Hooper. Universal has slotted the film for release on December 7, 2012, right in the center of Oscar season.
