What they miss out is we made the top because we are one of the few countries in the world that does not allow female genital mutilation. Yet we still happily mutilate male children? legally. When is this legal screw up going to change? When are parents going to grow up and stop mutilating boys because they can? Whilst this country still sneers at female genital mutilation, why do we happily allow boys to be mutilated? And to mutilate your child so he looks like Dad is continuing a barbaric ritual for no good reason except continuing barbarianism. And to say it is to hard to keep clean is just childish. When will it end in NZ? I hope soon.

The latest project to get the green light is the comedy starring Sarah Silverman, which the network landed in August after a bidding war with a hefty put pilot commitment. The half-hour, from 20th Century Fox TV and Imagine TV, is a pet project of Imagine principal Ron Howard. Loosely based on Silverman’s life, the untitled single-camera comedy stars the comedian as a woman readjusting to the single life after a decade-long live-in relationship. Silverman wrote the script with Dan Sterling and Jon Schroeder, who were writer-producers on her self-titled Comedy Central series.
