During the April 19 edition of Fox News’ The O’Reilly Factor, Bill O’Reilly hosted a segment attacking this week’s episode of Glee for featuring a storyline about a transgender teenager struggling with her gender identity. O’Reilly was joined by Fox & Friends’ Gretchen Carlson and Judge Jeanine Pirro.
Throughout the segment, O’Reilly and Carlson criticized Glee for encouraging “dopey kids” to experiment with homosexuality and possibly identify as transgender, comparing LGBT youth to smokers and “drug-fueled” celebrities:

Well, especially the excellent ‘New Girl’ and ‘raising Hope’. Since Jimmy and Sabrina FINALLY got together on ‘Hope’ the show has taken the storylines to wonderful heights. And the nice thing is the show has always been of a high quality. And interesting that ‘New Girl’ has had a ratings slump since they set Schmidt and CeeCee up. Love the storyline. Love the show.
‘Glee’ needs to fucking get rid of Damien McGinty as soon as possible anyway they care too. It does not matter how. The untalented fuckstick needs to get the hell off the show NOW. It is a ruinous presence.
