Steven Moffat Takes Back Ownership Of The ‘Doctor Who’ Movie.
SO ONE DAY AFTER SUPPOSED DIRECTOR DAVID YATES ANNOUNCED THE FILM WOULD HAVE A NEW DOCTOR, BE OFF CANON AND, OH WELL JUST WATCH THIS………….
MOFFAT TWEETED THIS TODAY…………
WELL, BITCH SLAP FOR YATES AND THE BBC WORLDWIDE TEAM THAT SEEM TO BE THE ONES PUSHING THE MOVIE IDEA. BBC, TRY NOT TO LOSE THE BRAINS BEHIND YOUR TWO BIGGEST SHOWS.
AND THIS FROM THE RADIO TIMES…..
RadioTimes caught a statement Moffat issued to a national newspaper regarding the future of a big screen Doctor, calling the character and his revered world “a vitally important BBC brand with a huge international audience,” one which “not even Hollywood can start from scratch.”
The producer further explained that technically “there simply are no developed plans for a Doctor Who movie at the moment” but “if and when the movie happens it will need to star television’s Doctor Who – and there’s only ever one of those at a time… Whatever happens, the BBC and BBC Worldwide will work together to ensure that we don’t just get a movie, we get the movie that everyone wants.”
BBC Denies, Then Confirms ‘Doctor Who’ Movie Story.
I AM SO LOST. SO, THE STORY WAS RELEASED BY DAVID YATES, NOT PETER YATES, A GOOD DIRECTOR, NOW DEAD.
ANYHOO, THE BBC DENIED THE STORY, BUT BBC WORLDWIDE CONFIRMED IT, AND HOW THE BBC WEBSITE HAVE DONE A STORY ON THE FILM, BUT CREDITING VARIETY FOR THE STORY.…………WTF?????

I DON’T THINK IT WILL HAPPEN. A ‘DOCTOR WHO’ STORY OFF CANON AND RECAST? WHY BOTHER. ‘TORCHWOOD’ IS BETTER SUITED TO A MOVIE, OBVIOUSLY.
