Pope Vader Demands U.S. Catholics Stick To The Hate The Catholic Church Approves.

therealstevegray.com

Because, without the hate the Catholic church may have to spend money and do good deeds, which is not in the catholic Church script. The foulest religion around.

Pope Benedict XVI asked bishops Saturday to ensure that religious teachings are authorised by the Catholic Church, in a bid to keep US Catholics in line with the Vatican.
The appeal comes after the Vatican last month upbraided a US association of Catholic clergy women for its feminist and liberal stances on contraception, homosexuality and female priests.
“Such discord harms the Church’s witness and, as experience has shown, can easily be exploited to compromise her authority and her freedom,” the pope said in a speech.
He referred to an article of Catholic rules that specifies clergy must receive approval from the Vatican for the contents of their teachings.
“The importance of this canonical norm … becomes all the more evident when we consider the confusion created by instances of apparent dissidence between some representatives of Catholic institutions and the Church’s pastoral leadership,” the pope said.
Catholic leaders in the US are split between an ultra-conservative wing, which has slammed President Barack Obama’s reforms that include contraceptive requirements in health care coverage, and other church leaders who have taken more liberal stances on homosexuality and other issues.
For the pope, who has been receiving groups of US bishops for regular work sessions, the rejection of abortion and euthanasia are “non-negotiables” that the Church must defend.

‘Jesus Liked Cock’ – Claims Soon To Be Ex-Communicated Anglican Priest To Congregation.

kersplebedeb.com

Jesus Christ was most likely gay, an Anglican priest told his flock on Good Friday. Paul Oestreicher, Canon Emeritus of Coventry Cathedral, writes today that the “homosexual option simply seems the most likely,” Oestreicher writes, because the “intimate relationship with the beloved disciple…John whom Jesus, the gospels affirm, loved in a special way…points in that direction.” Oestreicher, also a chaplain at the University of Sussex, acknowledges that it could be a “divisive issue,” especially on Good Friday, but adds that Jesus being gay “in no way affects who he was and what he means for the world today. Spiritually it is immaterial.”

Was that divisive issue a subject for Good Friday? For the first time in my ministry I felt it had to be. Those last words of Jesus would not let me escape. “When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing near, he said to his mother, ‘Woman behold your son!’ Then he said to the disciple. ‘Behold your mother!’ And from that hour the disciple took her to his own home.”

That disciple was John whom Jesus, the gospels affirm, loved in a special way. All the other disciples had fled in fear. Three women but only one man had the courage to go with Jesus to his execution. That man clearly had a unique place in the affection of Jesus. In all classic depictions of the Last Supper, a favourite subject of Christian art, John is next to Jesus, very often his head resting on Jesus’s breast. Dying, Jesus asks John to look after his mother and asks his mother to accept John as her son. John takes Mary home. John becomes unmistakably part of Jesus’s family.

Jesus was a Hebrew rabbi. Unusually, he was unmarried. The idea that he had a romantic relationship with Mary Magdalene is the stuff of fiction, based on no biblical evidence. The evidence, on the other hand, that he may have been what we today call gay is very strong. But even gay rights campaigners in the church have been reluctant to suggest it. A significant exception was Hugh Montefiore, bishop of Birmingham and a convert from a prominent Jewish family. He dared to suggest that possibility and was met with disdain, as though he were simply out to shock.

After much reflection and with certainly no wish to shock, I felt I was left with no option but to suggest, for the first time in half a century of my Anglican priesthood, that Jesus may well have been homosexual. Had he been devoid of sexuality, he would not have been truly human. To believe that would be heretical.

Heterosexual, bisexual, homosexual: Jesus could have been any of these. There can be no certainty which. The homosexual option simply seems the most likely. The intimate relationship with the beloved disciple points in that direction. It would be so interpreted in any person today. Although there is no rabbinic tradition of celibacy, Jesus could well have chosen to refrain from sexual activity, whether he was gay or not. Many Christians will wish to assume it, but I see no theological need to. The physical expression of faithful love is godly. To suggest otherwise is to buy into a kind of puritanism that has long tainted the churches.

Russia Refuses To Support Any Human Rights – As They Do.

stopclusterbombs.org.nz

Russia has disassociated itself from the language used in a statement on fundamental human rights and freedoms by the G8 Foreign Ministers Meeting Chair, as the document listed both gays and bisexuals as separate groups.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Sergey Ryabkov told reporters that Russia considers inadmissible any aggressive propaganda and imposing of ways of life and values that could insult the feelings of a significant part of society, under the excuse of protecting the rights of so-called sexual minorities.

The statement of the G8 Foreign Ministers Meeting Chair reads that “the ministers reaffirmed that human rights and fundamental freedoms are the birthright of all individuals, male and female, including lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender individuals”. A remark is included in the document that the Russian Federation disassociates itself from this language, given the absence of any explicit definition or provision relating to such a group or such persons as separate rights holders under international human rights law.

the country needs a boycott.

Crazy AntiGay Ugandan Anglican Archbishop Quits.

virtueonline.org

The outgoing conservative Ugandan Anglican Archbishop, Henry Luke Orombi, has said the Church in Europe and America has lost vision and direction over gay rights and prosperity.

He said if the Anglican Church of England elects the gay sympathetic Ugandan-born Archbishop of York, John Sentamu to replace the outgoing Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams and “ it imposes (Sentamu) on the Anglican communion”, the communion would have to decide whether to work with Sentamu or not.

Orombi who is the Archbishop of the (Anglican) Church of Uganda and Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Kampala is retiring one year before his official tenure ends.

It is not clear if he is resigning, given that his fanatical anti-gay sentiments have put him at odds with members of the global Anglican Communion.

He came in as head of the Ugandan Anglican Church in 2004 at the height of internal friction on the Church’s stand on gay rights as a result of the 2003 election of the openly gay non-celibate Bishop Gene Robinson to lead the Anglican Church in New Hampshire, in the USA
.
At that time his fellow Ugandan Anglican Bishop, Christopher Senyonjo a prominent rights activist in the Anglican Church, was encouraging the Ugandan Church to allow diversity by including homosexuals in the local Church. This position saw Senyonjo stripped of his bishopric by the House of Bishops.

The fine for defying Russia’s anti-gay censorship law? Up to 500,000 rubles. His integrity? Priceless. Sergey Kondrashov was jailed in St. Petersburg, Russia for defying a new draconian “homosexual propaganda” law. His crime? Holding up a sign saying a close family friend, who happens to be lesbian, deserves the same rights as he and his wife. Stand with Sergey – and other Russians who are refusing to be silenced, and challenging the spread of this backwards law nationwide.
