Sirius XM radio talk host Joe Madison today announced that he discovered audio of George Zimmerman referring to Trayvon Martin as a “f**king coon” under his breath moments before he shot the teenager to death.
“A listener reached out to me yesterday asking that I listen to the tape carefully,” Madison said. “This morning when we got in, I had our engineer clean up the tape and sure enough, there it was.”
*According to ABC News, a frightened 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, whose death has sparked national outrage, told a friend over the phone moments before he was shot and killed that he was being followed.
“He said this man was watching him, so he put his hoodie on. He said he lost the man,” the female friend of Trayvon Martin, who was shot to death on Feb. 26 in Twin Lakes, Fla., told ABC. “I asked Trayvon to run, and he said he was going to walk fast. I told him to run, but he said he was not going to run.”
Martin, who is black, was unarmed when a neighborhood watch captain spotted him walking home after buying candy and iced tea from a convenience store. Call logs from Martin’s phone confirm he spoke with the 16-year-old friend interviewed by ABC News minutes before his death, the news station reported. She was not identified, and spoke through an attorney.
More than 435,000 people, many alerted by tweets from celebrities such as movie director Spike Lee and musician Wyclef Jean, signed a petition on Change.org, a social action website, calling for the arrest of Martin’s shooter, George Zimmerman, who has claimed he acted in self-defense. On Monday, the Justice Department and FBI announced they opened an investigation into the shooting.

RUGBY legend Gareth Thomas is expected to be stunned by revelations a friend he started a business with is WANTED over alleged swindles of £1.4million.
But the People can exclusively reveal Smith fled justice more than two years ago after persuading magistrates in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, to release him on bail because he had HIV and feared dying in prison.
He was helped by a clinical psychologist who testified to the court that Smith, 42, was HIV positive. It is believed he contracted the virus from an infected needle.
At the time Smith was awaiting trial over 14 charges of fraud and theft totalling £1.4million.
The judge who let him out came to the decision after being told the police had confiscated his UK citizen’s travel documents.
But once he was free Smith went to the British consulate and managed to persuade officials to give him a replacement passport.
Before leaving the country he emailed his lawyer in South Africa saying he was going to Australia. Soon afterwards a warrant for his arrest was issued.

I find American Idol‘s most famously gay hollerer’s getup cool and fun, but truth be told, I don’t think it’s very… alluring? For all of his glitter and tight-panted strutting, Lambert always feels less like a lascivious loverman to me and more like, say, a standard Glee character. Or a character in general. Or an anime drawing in a high school freshman’s Art I notebook. Or the lovechild of Butch Patrick and Jo Anne Worley! Still, he democratized “glam” in 2008, and for that he warrants hotness points. Oh, and those gay makeout pics are pretty hot.

Stop the presses: I believe Kris Allen was the rightful winner of Season 8. His song choices were the most inspired, his song renditions were the most inventive (“She Works Hard for the Money” as an acoustic come-down jam, anyone?), and more than any other singer his season, he transmitted vulnerability. That vulnerability makes him hot, along with his innocent eyes and sidemouthy singing. My vote for the sexiest vocal in Idol history is his rendition of “To Make You Feel My Love.” And while I’m being honest, “Live Like We’re Dying” is as good a post-Idol single as Kelly Clarkson’s “Miss Independent” or Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats.” I said it.
