Joan Rivers Admits Her Betrayal Of Johnny Carson Lead To Her Having To Become ‘The Cunt Of Comedy’.
So, there is a film coming out on the life of Johnny Carson, and for the first time EVER Joan Rivers admits she acted with little class when she signed up for Fox as competition to Johnny, but, like, forgot to tell him and he found out when Fox announced her show……
On Carson and Joan Rivers:
“Joan Rivers broke Johnny’s heart in a way I don’t think even any of the failed marriages did because this was someone he genuinely appreciated as a funny person, but also really liked. He felt so betrayed and broken hearted when she called to tell him about her show well after he had found out about it.
“He found out about it, and when she called him, he hung up on her and famously never spoke to her again. And in the film for the first time she acknowledges, ‘Perhaps I should have called him sooner.’”

A few years ago Joan was still bitching like a spoiled child about Johnny cutting her out of his life…..

of course the show bombed, and Joan was in the wilderness for years. But know she makes a great living on E channel talking foul, nasty bullying trash on everyone else in the Business. The funny thing is to shut her up all anyone has to say is……
Joan, you are such a cow even your own husband killed himself rather than stay with you………
I turned off her after her gross comments about Kathy Bates. Joan, you may be so insecure you have to have surgery to look in the mirror at your ridiculous face, but many people in the world are happy looking…..human.
‘Smash – Season 2 Will Not Return Until Mid-Season 2012.
Not sure that I really care. have seen the first 6 episodes and my only joy is mocking how bad the scripts are and how camply bad the whole show is. Except Anjelica, the only actor who brings any class to the proceedings. Either bad, dull or nasty characters do bad, nasty or dull things. Bt at least the fire of the show runner gives me hope………….
Another headline coming out of the announcement was that musical drama Smash is being held for midseason (along with new dramas Infamous and Hannibal and new comedies Save Me, 1600 Penn and Next Caller). Asked by EW.com about Smash‘s creative direction for its second season now that Gossip Girl writer Josh Safran is taking the showrunner reins, Greenblatt said, “[Safran] has a real passion for this world and he’s a really smart and sophisticated writer. He’s going to raise the bar for us. I do think we’re going to do a better job of arcing really interesting and complex serialized stories.”
