It is a little annoying that they bicker about it on twitter and all over the internet. It’s mostly sad haha. I’ve noticed that Tommy’s “cray” fans seem to want him to be an asexual creature. They conveniently ignore any evidence of Tommy currently having a girlfriend named Liz. And they seem to enjoy the idea that Tommy “went gay” for Adam but can’t have him now. I guess making Tommy into an asexual 30-year-old “boy” allows them to more easily project their fantasies onto him. To acknowledge that Tommy has any kind of sex/romantic life would be too threatening… they’d have to acknowledge that he didn’t choose them!

This is all so much ridiculousness. Laurie et al should be universally blocked by EVERYONE. The concept of “shunning” should not be left behind bc old societies practiced it. Seems reasonable in this case, in this fandom. Not bc we hate her (although many do), but bc she’s totally delusional and cannot be an ADAM LAMBERT FAN while professing to be so by slaving over one or more of his hired band members.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve met and talked with Tommy several times before and since Gridlock…gorgeous, nice, silly, lovable guy. I even got huge grief for reporting that I saw him kissing who was obviously a girlfriend at Gridloc BEFORE the show. At the end of the day…HE’S A HIRED BAND MEMBER. Of course, over time now, a close friend to Adam, but that’s all, despite the stage play, however hawttt and libido inspiring for many of us, including me. It doesn’t help that masterful vid compilations such as “Straight to Number One” is the hottest thing since ever, but it was STAGE-GAY, not reality.
Tommy’s made comments like this before….. then he proceeded to go out of his way to wish LaurieLovesAdam a happy birthday on Twitter. *roll eyes* He could easily be consistently firm about this issue, but chooses to act like it’s out of his hands.

All I know is I’m dreading the return of the US band. Tired of the marginal talent, the famewhoring, and the cray fans who obsess over them. The UK musicians and backing singers were so much better — sounded better, seemed like real pros, were more likeable. I hope Adam (or his management team) will consider them for the Trespassing world tour.
