FFS – Do Not Compare Tom Cruise To Adam Lambert In Any Way Idiots.
What an offensive comment to make. Adam has worked for years on his vocals, as all professional singers have to. To say some closeted prick like Tom Cruise can just ‘learn to sing like a rock star’ in 4 months is not just wrong, it is bullshit. First, this crap from the closet wankers vocal coach….
On the day of Mr. Cruise’s first voice lesson with Ron Anderson, a well-known voice coach who has worked with rockers like Axl Rose, the director nervously eavesdropped from behind a closed door at the actor’s house as he ran through some singing exercises. Mr. Cruise could carry a tune—but he needed to improve his range. On top of a rigorous fitness and dance regimen, he began training with Mr. Anderson, who uses the 300-year-old “bel canto technique,” five to seven hours a day.
“He did what would normally take two years to do in 4½ months,” says Mr. Anderson, noting that he more than doubled his range, to more than four octaves. (The average person has a two-octave range; Axl Rose’s has been closer to five.) “His concentration is beyond anything I have ever seen before.”
And now the ridiculous vocal comparison between Cruise and Adam Lambert………
Did you know Tom Cruise could sing before he signed on to do the movie?
We didn’t know if he could sing the way I needed him to sing. But he was so excited. … He had a couple of sessions with a vocal coach. I was there, and he was unbelievable. He kept increasing his range.
That ’80s rock is not easy for a guy to sing …
Nobody really sings like that anymore, other than Adam Lambert. Their voices were so high, and they were just screaming. (Cruise) had to really work on that.
Here is Cruise with alot of auto-tune…..
And here is Adam doing what a real rock star does………
If Cruise does have a 4 octave range, I challenge him to sing the Queen Of The Night aria.

Tom Cruise is well known for intense focus accomplishing an objective, but 41/2 months to accomplish attaining a 4 octave range seems a pretty big stretch. His singing Dead or Alive was adequate, (He could carry a tune) but it didn’t show any notable vocal range and to put him in the same sentence as Adam lambert is absurd. Actually I couldn’t put anyone in Adam’s category. His song Running demonstrates what a broad vocal range he owns. You rarely hear his beautiful lower range which he includes in this song. Adam singing Come to Me, Bend to Me from Brigadoon is a lesson in excellence. While it isn’t a song to my musical taste, I frequently go back to it on YT to hear his spellbinding pure, perfectly pitched, exquisite high, tender notes and his 23 second powerful breath holding notes toward the song’s end. When he sings the word “lips”, it’s clear, crisp and so effective. I was stunned at the pure beauty of his voice and it’s control. I don’t know of any other artist that can sing rock, pop, opera, blues, etc. There’s absolutely no one like him and poor Tom will never come close or anyone else for that matter.
Lol. Tom Cruise’s voice is more Adam Levine than Adam Lambert.
Are you kidding Tom Cruise even sounds bad w all this autotune. What a crock. He’s definitely not even in same league with Adam Lambert.
Who is this vocal coach?
If I was Bon Jovi I would be suing. Tom cruise should stick to ?? anything but singing.
