It’s about the people who can’t legally be someones partner and have no rights because of it – that gut wrenchingly painful truth, that some people have no right to stand by their partner in a hospital and have their say because they aren’t legally a couple, or in case of a death, it all reverts back to the family, who may disaprove of the deceased life choices and make life for the life partner awful — and all those other fucking awful stories I have heard, read, lived through..
