Fun.

For those who need to know a bit more about the band…

Borne from the wilds of the South Island of New Zealand come Transistors! A three piece power pop, garage fuzz outfit, they are made up of James Harding on guitar and vocals, Colin Roxburgh on bass, and Olly Crawford-Ellis on drums and vocals.

Transistors have just returned from a 27 date US tour with Guitar Wolf and have traveled extensively in their homeland, playing and touring with the likes of Black Lips, Jeff the Brotherhood, Guitar Wolf, The Datsuns, The Dirtbombs, Crocodiles, Dum Dum Girls, Mint Chicks, Pierced Arrows, BRMC, Foo Fighters, St Jeromes Laneway Festival and more. For Transistors, every show is important, and so every show deserves as much as energy as is humanly possible.

First album Shortwave was released in 2009, followed by the Flux Pentaphile E.P. a year later. Their latest album is being readied for release later in 2012 on Arch Hill, while pre-album singles This is Not an Exit, Excommunicator and Abandoned are available online.
