I think you have misunderstood my earlier comment. I was characterizing the speculation of others in the media and the fandom, not what YOU said in this article. I admonish those people to enjoy the Artist and stop all the other speculation about him and agree with all of the commentators here.

I am definitely one of Adams fans that has seen almost every interview, article, video regarding him since he was auditioning for Idol. I have heard him say he had a fear of growing old alone but I have never heard HIM say he wanted to get married. I’ve heard him say he wanted love and that he has found love. But never has he said he wanted to get married. In fact the only thing that he has actually said about marriage is that he is to young to think about it.
I am happy for him that he is proudly in a loving relationship. Of course what he says in the privacy of his own relationship is his business. But publicly, you are right, that is not what he said to Rolling Stone. Adam use to say that he did not want to be the poster boy for anyone elses causes. He was jumped on for being to gay, not gay enough. Sirius OutQ radio ridiculed him during Idol for not tattooing GAY on his forehead. Magazine editors were worse. I think I’m beginning to babble here but this guy just wants to sing, entertain, have a career and a satisfying life.
You are right again. Everyone just wants to use him: for a headline; blog hit; social agenda. Whatever, I just want to hear him sing (and maybe watch him perform, look at pictures and videos etc).
You beat me to it Random…DAMN YOU! Hahahaaa! But YOU and STEVE are correct. Adam HAS said that he is in LOVE right now but I have NOT heard him say he’s ready for marriage. And why SHOULD he rush it? He’s young, SINGLE (legally) and just getting started on what promises to be an ICONIC career! I refuse to become emotionally invested in ANY relationship he has with lovers OR associates.
