WELL, THAT WAS A FUCKING BORING WAY TO WASTE 3 HOURS. HAVE THESE PEOPLE WATCHED TV? NO MAJOR SURPRISES IN ANY CATEGORIES. NO FUNNY BITS. NO CONNECTION BETWEEN PRESENTERS AT ALL. THE PRERECORDED BITS,(RICKY GERVAIS, WHAT PEOPLE HATE ABOUT THEIR WORK PLACES IN CHARACTER) WERE LAUGHABLY UNFUNNY. JANE LYNCH HAD ONE GOOD JOKE, AND HER OPENING STUNK, WHICH SHE DREW ATTENTION TOO. THAT DID NOT MAKE IT FUNNY, IT JUST MADE US AWARE SHE KNEW IT WASN’T FUNNY. BITCH, DON’T POINT OUT SOME OLD SLAPSTICK IS BAD. BE FUCKING FUNNIER………
THE EMMY TONES, FEATURING JOEL MCHALE AND SOME OTHER ACTORS WERE ALSO NOT FUNNY. THE ENDLESS TRIBUTE TO ANDY SAMBERG AND THE LONELY PLANET FORGOT THE FACT THAT YOU LAUGH ONCE WHEN YOU FIRST HEAR THE JOKE SONGS, AND AFTER THAT THE COMEDIC RETURNS DISAPPEAR.
AS FOR THE WINNERS, NICE THAT KYLE CHANDLER WON FOR ‘FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS’. CANNOT BELIEVE MELISSA MCCARTHY WON FOR THAT ‘FAT PEOPLE JOKE CRAPFEST’ SHOW. HOW MARTHA PLIMPTON LOST FOR ‘RAISING HOPE’ IS BEYOND ME. HOW THE VERY MIDDLE CLASS ‘MODERN FAMILY’ WON SO MANY AWARDS IS JUST MAD. THAT SHOW IS SO FUCKING SOFT AND RACIST AND JUST UNFUNNY NOW. OH, THAT IS WHY IT WON.
ALL IN ALL, BAD ENTERTAINMENT.

I hate:
[*]That Modern Family won. The drop off in quality from the first season is shocking. It’s obvious the Emmy voters vote for comedy based on popularity not quality.
[*]That Melissa McCarthy was given an Emmy based on her breakout in Bridesmaids not “Two Fat Slobs Eat Cookie Crumbs From Between Each Others Fat Rolls For 30 Minutes.” Again, based on popularity, not quality.
[*] That Jim Parsons was given ANOTHER award for playing himself. Sheldon = Jim, Jim = Sheldon (!!!) They’re basically giving him an award for remembering his lines. I don’t care that he’s in the closet, but that he is one note – no fucking range.
I Love/Like:
[*] That Downton Abbey won so much, and that Maggie Smith won. I’m afraid this may be one of her last rolls, so I’m glad it’s a good one.
[*] That Peter Dinklage won. Game of Thrones was wonderful, and Peter was/is Tyrion Lannister . /love
[*] Mad Men
[*] That Kate Winslet is consistent perfection.
[*] That Chris Colfer (aka Ryan Murphy’s dick puppet) didn’t win.
Next year better be the year of Parks and Recreation or I’m going to burn some shit.
