Have put on tv to see what is happening on good morning. they seemed to take ages to get started. I actually checked the channel to see if I had Ch 3 on !! I have googled info to see where the old set is and where is Brendon and Sarah are. Why on earth change something that is so good ?? they were such a real family. so natural the new kitchen….the out door setting.. I personally don’t have anything against these new presenters, however, Sarah and Brendon made you feel that you were in the set itself. as someone has already stated. why does everything have to end up in Auckland. We never watch the breakfast programme now. Petra and her off sider talk so incredibly fast they are racing each other and goodness knows how a deaf person can lip read. bring back the aussie TODAY breakfast I say.

I just tuned in to the Good Morning Show for the first time this year and was deeply disappointed not to see Brendon and Sarah.  Hmmm something is not right.

Didn’t Mary stop as host because they were moving it to Wellington? I’m trying to remember.

hi Steve I agree the way TVNZ has treated all the people that they have taken off the morning show it’s b****y rude . My daughter and i thought you were great and were stunned that they used your gay life style as an excuse (basket balls) it was cheap and  not very PC. so {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{BIGHUG)))))))))))))))))))) from us luv ya lots :O)

???? That’s why Steve isn’t on the Good Morning show ?!?!?!? WTF ? I do not understand how people haven’t just said fuck it and boycotted TVNZ.  I’d rather pay for Sky then give them ratings.

    Hi,
Yea I agree with you Steve, very RUDE & DISAPPOINTED that these 2, very fine talented show hosts, have to reapply for their jobs, just because, the Morning Show, is being moved to Auckland, they could’ve done this the other way & given Brendan & Sarah an option & said to them both, because of the show relocating, if they did not want to move to Auckland, then, they should be payed out in an Redundancy agreement, as they have been with TVNZ for many years & not been told that they have to reapply for their jobs, if they did agree to stick with the show, even thou it’s been relocated to Auckland..DOWN RIGHT DEGRADING ON TVNZ part.

Why not just close it down for good.Everything has got to go to Auckland which is unfair
there are plenty of other places that would suit the Good Morning show.TVNZ have a lot of picky people in their main office, its about time they realised people don’t want alot of Aucklanders on their T.V.everyday.

I was so angry when TVNZ didn’t renew your contract.  I loved you on the show, and when you did the exercises you had me in fits of laughter!!!  I liked you the best actually Steve, so sad for Sarah and Brendan though.

  • Nitrium says:

I’m sure I read here that TVNZ was selling Avalon Studios. In that case, is the show itself even safe? Why worry about the hosts of a show that is no longer being made??? Assuming they do keep it, then Good Morning will have to move to Auckland – I can well imagine that Brendan and Sarah may be very reluctant to shift to AK due to family/house/partner’s job etc in Wellington. So recasting at this stage for alternatives (if the current hosts can’t or won’t commit to moving) might be a reasonable idea.
